Silly, silly eBay auction!

The auction

I also posted it below because it will disappear from eBay in a few weeks. The graphics are great!

Untitled Document

"Vince Vaughn is Haunting My Girlfriend So Now I Have to Get Him Out of My House!"

My Girlfriend had a Nightmare About Vince Vaughn Which Caused Her to Go on a Rampage, and Now YOU Have To Help Me Fix It!

Thanks Vince

<Click HERE To Watch this auction>

The night after we watched the Vince Vaughn movie "Made" my girlfriend had a weird nightmare.  I usually wake up just seconds before my girlfriend wakes up. I don't know why; I just do.  On this occassion I woke up just a moment before her body started shuddering uncontrollably.  It was kind of freaky to see, but I am used to it.  It's her standard I'm having a nightmare convulsion.  The convulsion always reminds me of Sigourney Weaver in Ghostbusters when she turns into Zuul...

My Girlfriend convulses like Sigourney Weaver turning into Zuul when she has a nightmare

It was the next part that really freaked me out.  She bolted upright, and let out a terrified throaty: "Vince Vaughn."  I asked her if she was alright, but she did not answer me, she just looked at me as if she didn't who I was and then went back to sleep.

In the morning...

"Did you have any dreams last night?"

"Not that I recall, Why?"

"No nightmares? Nothing about Vince Vaughn?"

She went as white as ghost

She went as white as Casper the Ghost when I mentioned Vince Vaughn

The Nightmare:

"I was sitting in a hospital room waiting for someone.  The hospital stench filled my nose, you know the smell, that smell that you can't describe but is found in all hospitals.  There was no one else in the waiting room, not even anyone at the registration desk.  I sat in silence, breathing in the stench.  I was waiting for something, but I didn't know what.

Suddenly an ambulance pulled up.  It was a red like a firetruck, and the lights were really bright; like a huge spotlight.  I closed my eyes to block out the light.  I heard panicked voices all around, so I opened my eyes.  I was no longer sitting in the waiting room; I was pushing someone down the hall in a stretcher.  The person had a blanket over their body so I could not see them.

I took the blanket off their face so I could see what was wrong.  The person on the stretcher was Vince Vaughn.  His skin looked like an ant farm, with little worms crawling in and out of holes in his face.  I can't even begin to describe it. It was gross.  As soon as I pulled back the blanket he began talking.  He was doing the usual Vince Vaughn rant where it seems like he is 'improv'ing his lines in a movie.

A doctor came up to me and said that he would take it from here.  He wheeled Vince into a room and shut the door.  I just stood there and could hear muffled voice from the other side.  I put my ear to the door to try and figure out what they were saying, when someone in the room started screaming.  I stood back from the door and looked near the bottom of the door.  Worms and maggots were crawling out from under door and moving towards me.  That's when I woke up."

"Vince Vaughn: YOU OWE ME A NEW TV!"

So that was her dream. It didn't seem that scary to me, but of course it wasn't my dream.  Sometimes dreams can really affect you.  It seems this dream really affected her.

Later that night while we were watching TV, a preview for the movie Fred Claus (starring Vince Vaughn) came on.  This seemed to cause some kind of flashback for my girlfriend because she had a little freak out.  She grabbed the copy of "Made" that we had watched the night previous (for some reason I always stuff the case of the movie we watch into the edge of the couch) and tossed it at the TV.  The throw would have put Nolan Ryan to shame. When the case made contact with the TV it made a loud bang.   The DVD case bounced halfway across the room! I just stared at her with the "have you lost your mind" kind of stare, and then she yelled "Get that movie the $%&# out of our house!"  I then gave her the silent, panicked, I'm scared nod.

Later on that night I went to inspect my precious TV to see if it was alright.  It wasn't alright.  She chipped the TV.  I couldn't believe it.  The DVD case put a chip in my TV.  Now when ever I watch TV, it looks like there is a bug crawling on it. This is going to drive me to have nightmares!

She Put a CHIP IN MY TV

Now she wants me to get rid of the movie.  I just bought it a few days ago! I think she wanted me to just throw it in the garbage, so that we could get Vince out of our house and get on with our lives.  Throw it out? No way!  Like I said before I just bought it!  I'm not cheap or anything and if it means she will be happy I'll get rid of it, but there are principles involved.  I can't throw away a movie I just bought a few days ago.  I can't even return it.  The toss at the TV did some damage to the DVD case and I am pretty sure I could not get a refund.

I really wanted to pick up a copy of Wedding Crasher's as well.  I am glad I didn't.  I guess I'll have to wait until this whole thing blows over.  If it ever blows over!

In fact it may never blow over!  Especially if I keep taunting my girlfriend with Vince Vaughn.  I think this whole situation is way to hilarious so I decided to make fun of it.  I sent her an email that included a line of dancing Vince's.  I am not sure how she will react, but when she does I will let you know and post it on my ABOUT ME PAGE

River Dance Anyone?

So here it is I decided to sell the DVD on eBay because I cannot just throw away a perfectly good DVD.  The DVD works fine, as it was in the DVD player when the violence broke out.  I decided I would put whatever I get for the DVD towards replacing my TV, or therapy for my girlfriend.

UP FOR AUCTION

A slightly used DVD copy of the movie "Made"

If you haven't heard about the movie you can learn more about it from the Internet Movie Data Base

The DVD and the case are in great condition aside from the damage from the throw to the TV.

I have started the bidding low at 99 cents to encourage people to bid and help me get it out of my house.  I will also include FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in Canada or the US (excluding Hawaii).

Due to the fact that my girlfriend never wants to see this item ever again ALL SALES WILL BE FINAL.

If you have any questions please CONTACT ME THROUGH EBAY MESSAGES and I will answer them.  I will also post all the questions and answers to this auction on this page in case others may have the same question.

Help Me Make Fun of this Situation

Just like the Dancing Vince I want to see what kind of creative 'Vince Vaughn" funny stuff you can come up with.  Whether it's an animation or picture - whatever, just send it to me so I can send it to my girlfriend to poke fun at her.  I will post all the pictures on my ABOUT ME PAGE so check it out!

I would totally bid on this if I lived in the UK

Found on eBay:

standeeRare-Starsky-Hutch-Standee-Vince-Vaughn-as-Feldman

"Break out the lava lamps-the 70's retro wagon train stops here! This a fantastic piece only being let go (with 3 others) simply because my wife thinks it's Spring and wants to change the decor in the house (read: she wants rid!).

This massive piece measures 102cm x 180cm and is in great condition. This one shows the Vince "Dodgeball" Vaughn as the bad guy-one Reese Feldman in the hilarious hit of last year 2004. I'm really sorry to let this go but I'm under orders...my loss your gain...

Shipping to the UK is by Royal Mail Special Delivery simply because it's cheaper than 1st Class Signed For Service. Shipping anywhere else will be quite a bit more due to it's size-so remember to ask for a quote. Overseas shipping is only by Airsure, Euro48 or equivalent Royal Mail Signatory Service which can cost up to £50-please be aware!

Good luck!"

I bet these items will sell for quite a lot. Not only are they pretty nice threads on their own, but they are from one of the hottest movies of Summer.

Wedding Crashers Soundtrack

Death Cab for Cutie, the Flaming Lips and Jimmy Eat World are among the artists, um, crashing the soundtrack for the upcoming comedy "Wedding Crashers." The Lips contribute a new song, "Mr. Ambulance Driver," which frontman Wayne Coyne has said will appear on the band's in-the-works new album, At War With the Mystics. The Jimmy Eat World tune, "(Splash) Turn Twist," was previously only available on a few hard-to-find EPs and international releases. Other acts on the soundtrack include Rilo Kiley and Bloc Party. The wedding crashers themselves, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, also contribute a sultry version of the Jewish classic "Hava Nagilah."

The soundtrack hits stores on July 12.

Japanese Dodgeball Poster

Here's something else cool I found on ebay--a Japanese Dodgeball poster. I've seen others from different countries, but this has to be the most interesting by far. I love how Christine Taylor is right out in front. Quite intentional, I'm sure.

Paparazzi on DVD

Also, don't forget that Paparazzi is out on DVD. I have no idea how long Vince's cameo is, but I've heard that it is in the first 20 minutes of the film. I'm sure I'll buy this eventually just for the Vince screen caps. Or not. I have yet to find a good review of this movie. :-/ I think the rule is that every actor is allowed two bad movies. But I don't think cameos count. Thank goodness for Vince. Sorry, Mel.

If you're a die-hard Vince fan, buy it so your collection is complete.

Dodgeball DVD

This is pretty neat. I just pre-ordered the Dodgeball DVD from Amazon, and I received immediate access to a deleted scene from the movie. I'm not really into pre-ordering my movies, but I couldn't resist this offer. The DVD comes out December 7th.

This offer is good from Thursday, September 16, 2004 until Tuesday, December 7, 2004. The deleted scene will be available in your "Digital Locker" until Wednesday, December 15, 2004.

Review of Starsky & Hutch DVD

reesefeldman.jpg

From the article, "How to Spend $20 This Week" from Box Office Prophets

Reason to buy "Starsky & Hutch", by Zach Kolkin:

For filling the void until Dodgeball comes out on DVD: Starsky & Hutch (Widescreen) (2004)

"I have to admit that I thought this movie pretty damn funny. Maybe it wasn’Äôt quite as good as Old School, but as one of Ben Stiller’Äôs few remaining devoted fans, particularly in his partnerships with Owen Wilson, I certainly found the film entertaining. Then there’Äôs Vince Vaughn, who, to paraphrase one of my BOP colleagues, would be funny reading the phone book. If that wasn’Äôt enough, there’Äôs even an MTV Movie Award-winning moment between Carmen Electra and Amy Smart. Clearly, Starsky & Hutch has a lot going for it. The DVD provides a reasonable amount of extras, starting with a commentary from director Todd Phillips, he of Old School and Road Trip fame. There’Äôs also ’ÄúFashion Fa Shizzle Wit Huggy Bizzle’Äù, which I trust needs no further explanation, some deleted scenes, some outtakes, and, last but certainly not least, an Easter Egg involving Vince Vaughn and Brady Brunch trivia. Come on, what’Äôs not to love?!"

Buy it here. I just got mine!
