I wonder if any late-thirties-ish, married moms were included in the gaggle of groupies? Hmmm. Probably not. So the chances of Vince letting me in to party with him were probably about as good as getting struck by lightning. Ah well. ;)

Just about everyone has seen the deck of playing cards with celebrity mugshots on them, right? Well now you can get a wall calendar with those famous celebrity, "hello dad...I'm in jail!" pics. From the article, it looks as if Vince will be Mr. April. Nice, eh? Order yours today! I think I'll pass.
Today, E! Online's Hollywood Party Girl--"She's (Almost) Always on the List," posted a recap of the T-Mobile Sidekick II Party (August 3rd--yes, it's been a couple of weeks) and mentions Vince not once, but twice!
"I peel my eyes away in time to catch Vince Vaughn swaggering in with a pack of pals that includes carousing cohort Owen Wilson."
and I love this...

"Christine Taylor, hardly bargaining for the badass 33rd birthday bash (July 31) hubby Ben Stiller threw down for her at Falcon. Sunset Boulevard. Greeted by a humongous billboard that read "Surprise, Christine!" C.T. was totally stunned by the hullabaloo, which included an open bar, all-night buffet and a smashing cake. Ms. T.'s shindig was ambushed by a school of A-listers, including the sweet and still happily married...David Arquette and Courteney Cox, stunner Craig Bierko, savvy Diane Keaton, crafty Jack Black, muscled Jeremy Piven, permanent partyers Luke and Owen Wilson, foxy Neve Campbell and Rebecca De Mornay, feisty Vince Vaughn and Ellen DeGeneres, expressionless Meg Ryan and the Jen Garner-less Michael Vartan. People Online reports that Vince was at the Launch party (July 28) for EA Sports Madden NFL 2005 Xbox game AND he was the only guest who got to take home an advance copy of the game, due out on August 12. The company was told that Vince has owned every version of the game and so they rewarded his loyalty with an advance copy. I bet he dodged out of that party early, too!
And speaking of EA Sports--their first hockey title, NHLPA Hockey '93, was, according to Dave Warfield, EA Sports Canada, "the official start of the cult following of EA's Hockey franchise, immortalized in the movie, Swingers墜ｶ'making Gretzky's head bleed' became the goal of hockey fans everywhere, and non-hockey fans were drawn into a gameplay experience that transcended the popularity of the sport."
According to this press release, Vince was at the T-Mobile Sidekick II Launch Party last night, but we have yet to find any pictures of him. WireImage, Rex, and DailyCeleb have photos from the event, but Vince is nowhere to be found.* Perhaps he was being shy and avoiding the press? Or maybe he was supposed to be there but was a no-show? At any rate, looks like it was a fabulous party and the place to be last night.
*But I did find this picture of him from the Puma Bodywear Launch Party in West Hollywood last Thursday. Here is a press release where the writer says that "Vince Vaughn, as usual, dodged the press and made a beeline for the side entrance."
Now don't get your panties in a bunch. The upcoming photo is Vince at REHAB, the biggest party in Vegas (god, I wish I was young again!) I believe this was taken the same day/time of the Maxim Hot 100 Event at the Hard Rock Hotel (Note the same plaid shirt that he's wearing in the WireImage pics.)* BUT...what is so interesting is that I came across this photo by accident. I receive the Hard Rock's email subscription to their specials, etc. (yes, I live vicariously through websites...if I can't get a real vacation, I'm going to take one online, dammit!) So in the newsletter it says that they supposedly have some photos from the Maxim thing. I go to the site remembering that Vince was at the event and hoping to find some other photos of him. I didn't find the photos, but I somehow found myself perusing the REHAB section of the website and came across this "Explore REHAB" Flash thingy. Then I clicked around to do my exploring and when I clicked on the bikini girl holding the Polaroids, there is a picture of Vince in the set of pictures! Wowee.
I can't believe I just wrote all of that to show you this one blurry photo of Vince. But it is pretty cool that the Hard Rock used him in their promotional thing. Okay, that's all! Oh...and who is that girl? And p.s. Vince...why are you wearing a plaid shirt to a beach party full of hot women beautiful babies? I'm sure he had a good reason, but wouldn't it be nice to see him in his swimming trunks?
*Addendum...I just noticed that it's a different plaid shirt. You can never have too many plaid shirts!
