When I first heard about this I rolled my eyes because E! has the tendency to sensationalize their stories and I figured the Wilson's were given this "honor" only because of Owen's troubles. With that said I watched this tonight and was quite impressed. My Mom called me the last 2 minutes of the show so I had to listen to it over her talking to me. But from what I saw they were very sensitive over Owen's situation and didn't promote the "rumors" out there which was a pleasant and welcomed surprise. If you didn't catch it I suggest you do, then share your thoughts and see if you agree.
Some random thoughts:
My favorite part of the story was the details involving Owen's time at Military School.
Owen sure did give his parents a workout.
The one negative: Poor Andrew....he gets only a footnote.
The one positive: They remembered Andrew.
I found it ironic how they discussed Luke not being able to handle the paparazzi while dating Gwyneth Paltrow and then to have his brother become a paparazzi magnet.
I can't tell you how happy I was that they had the Psychologist they did and not Dr. Drew. I was afraid since he's a E! show that they would've had him yapping his jaw on the show and thankfully they didn't.
It's heartwarming of how close this family is. That's so rare in Hollywood. I agree with the Psychologist, that family has got to be Owen's saving grace.
I really hope Owen is writing again. And hopefully he's writing with Wes.
One gripe: Why do people think if one brother is more famous then the other that there has got to be the Cain and Abel concept?
Impressed that Luke holds two records in track at his school 20 years later. Go Luke!
