From Entertaiment Weekly's September 2nd issue
An exclusive look at Vince Vaughn's next gig
WEDDING CRASHERS MAY BE the summer's top comedy, but star Vince Vaughn, 35, isn't resting on his laurels. He's informed EW exclusively that next he'll emcee Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show, a 30-day, 30-gig U.S. tour featuring stand-ups Ahmed Ahmed, John Caparulo, Bret Ernst, and Sebastian Maniscalco. The bus gets rolling Sept. 12 in L.A. and drives through the South and Midwest before parking in the Windy City on Oct. 11. (For more information, go to wildwestpictureshowproductions.com.) "Bands travel around and perform every night," he says. "That kind of live interaction with the crowd is always great." In other words, he's ready to rock. —Joshua Rich
How did you assemble this ensemble from L.A.'s Comedy Store? There's something really pure about these comics. Like my friend, Ahed is Muslim-American, and there are not a lot of roles or opportunities for him, so stand-up comedy became his only road, the way for him to express what's going on. For all the comics, there's some truth in that for the comedy they do.
Is your hosting style more Miss America or Wrestle-Mania? [Chuckles] It's just myself. My favorite was Johnny Carson. You come out, try to make people feel comfortable, try to have fun. I don't want to pick on the audience—it's not my style. If there's any teasing, it's self-deprecating.
Do you have any fond road trip memories? My family would take road trips all the time—we'd go [from Illinois] to Ohio or down to Florida. That was always a big deal: being in a car, traveling with your family, trying not to get grounded byt the time you get there!
Now that you're an expert wedding crasher, what advice would you give to folks who plan on crashing the shows? I don't think they're crashable. I mean, you've gotta guy tickets.

Posted at: August 27, 2005 7:26 PMif anyone lives in phoenix arizona and interested in purchasing 2 tickets for Celebrity Theatre on September 18th, I have two tickets that I can sell because I bought the tickets for the wrong date, and they won't give me a refund. The tickets are really good seats and close to the front. One is in the front row, an aisle seat. The other one is in the 4th row, also an aisle seat. Just looking for the value of the ticket, same price i purchased them for, 73 dollars total. If anyone is interested, please email me at jennaaaaa83@yahoo.com
Posted at: August 27, 2005 9:19 PMhahahah dear dana robles,
honey, i gotta be honest with you here, alright? Do you honestly think that Vince Vaughn is going to stroll onto this website, click on that particular comment, see that you wrote somehting to him, and then call out "Princess Danaene"? Chances are slim to none there hun'. You don't think that he has girls waiting for him at every whim, hoping he'll salvage their lonely lives by giving them a wink? Or, maybe he'll be feeling frisky, and choose to take them home, but out of all of those girls, i dont reallllyyy think thats hes gonna choose princess danaene, no matter how 'hot' you and your friend mary are.
yikes.
hey vince i love u sooooo much. i am a huge fan ov urs. even tho i would luv to, id probly never get a chance to meet u. i just waned u to know that ur the best and i luv u.
luv kerri
Posted at: August 28, 2005 9:38 PMHey Bailey, why don't you can it already. Maybe I will just start out the show yelling out "Princess Danaene", who knows? I would yell out "princess bailey", but my guess is that you probably look more like a "prince" bailey than a "princess". Leave the poor girl alone, she's just trying to score a little bit of lovin'. Dana, if you and your girls are as hot as you say, you can sure as hell bet that I'll notice you and your hot little bunnies friends sitting in B17. And there's plenty of lovin' to go around for everyone, so just come to the show and have a good time, and we'll see what happens.
