He looks kinda grumpy in some photos (who wouldn't if they woke up in England? ;) ) but gorgeous all the same!

Yep, I was there last night, and got all dizzy over being in close proximity to Vince (about 2 feet at one stage - wey hey!!); very sad at my age... Actually, he looked fairly grumpy throughout - "all business" is how I prefer to term it ;0). Vince only stuck around outside for about 10 minutes, signing some autographs and talking to the press. Owen did the rounds for about half an hour and looked a lot chirpier.
It was nice to see Vince loaning out one of his blue shirts to Owen (tee hee) & our man looked mighty fine. Actually they didn't look quite so twin-like in the flesh as the photos show. And I thought Vince was looking fairly lean (oh all right, and drop dead gorgeous) - not as puffy as he looks in some of those press junket photos from the other week. So I don't think he's coping too badly with the weight thing over giving up smoking.
Both of them were sporting 'designer' stubble (do you think men have special measurements for degrees of macho-ness??) and I have to say that Owen's stubble was noticeably darker than his hair. Is the Bottle Rocket a bottle blonde perchance....??!
There's been precious little about the premiere in the UK press that I've seen today, which would also match the woeful advance publicity there's been so far. I only found out about the premiere by chance Monday afternoon - and it was billed as the 'world premiere'!! I think the marketing people need to go back to the drawing board on this one. I was at the cinema on Sunday and there was no trailer for the film even though it opens in a fortnight. There was a trailer for King Kong, and that doesn't open until December!! Talk about useless. If the film doesn't "do the numbers" in the UK that the studio wants, they quite frankly have no-one but themselves to blame.
Jane Seymour was working the press contingency like there was no tomorrow; she must have done interviews for over half an hour and that was only the lot outside the cinema. She did look fantastic and the dress was beautiful. As for all the other people, well, they're primarily tv "personalities" from over here, coupled with various Z list model-types. WHY CAN'T GENUINE FANS GET TO GO TO THESE THINGS??(and no, I'm not shouting, I'm moaning).
I managed to get a few photos but won't know the quality until I get them printed (annoying man with big head in front of me who wouldn't stay still!!). If they're any good, I'll send them on.

Oh, and something I noticed, Vince leans to the right a lot when he talks to people; I think it gives the impression that he's concentrating on them and makes it feel more personal. I've also realised it lessens his height so he becomes less intimidating. I'm betting that that is something he's learnt over the years to counteract looming over people. It also makes him look unbearably endearing, so much so I REALLY wanted to scoop him up and take him home. Or is that just part of my 'eyes meeting across a crowded room' fantasy...
