I bought the Us Weekly today. At least they admitted that the "date" was just business. My thoughts on the whole thing are that the story gave Vince some bonus publicity which is never bad. But most likely, Vince could care less.
I know for a fact that since this story's break on Sunday, a hell of a lot more people know who he is now. Someone mentioned that there was a post on a Jennifer Aniston message board that said something like, "Oh no! Jen is dating that man from Dodgeball!" That man from Dodgeball?! Oh brother. But thousands of curious people found their way to this website every day this week, wondering about this Vince Vaughn guy. It's a fact that he's not as well-known as some actors--my mother doesn't even know who he is--but after this little bit of tabloid storytelling, he just got bumped up a notch on the famous scale. Of course, that's just my opinion.
On a side note, if Vince does keep getting more and more famous, I don't know if I'm going to be able to keep up with his success on this website. It's hard enough as it is. Believe it or not, I really do have a life outside of this little late-night hobby of mine. That's why I appreciate all of the input, news, photos, etc. that you fans forward to me. Thank you so much.

None of my friends knows him!!! None! They even thought that Ben Stiller was the one I liked, because I had mentioned that I wanted to get the "Dodgeball" and "Starsky & Hutch" DVD's! They assumed I liked Ben! When I cleared things up, they didn't know who I was talking about, they had to settle with "No, not Ben, the other guy, the tall one, the cute one...never mind" Ha ha!
Well, I'll keep thanking you Christine for this great site! Here we all know who this gorgeous man is! :)

I know he was with Joey Lauren Adams and Neve Campbell too, right? But as for Ashley and Jeanene it's probably just that old tabloid habit of linking actors to everyone they've ever co-starred with. He'll be dating Owen next, who's actually an alcholic, have you heard? That'll be the next big story, you'll see. *rolling eyes*
I don't know if I want Vince to be hugely famous. I want us to keep him to ourselves. It's like when that Eminem song "Stan" became huge, the media overkill ruined it for me! It was no longer the fans' little secret. Can't we just keep him for us? Who cares if others know him really? We know he's special! :D

Posted at: February 11, 2005 12:30 PMI liked Drea's role in The Sopranos and was kinda upset that they killed Adrianna off, but Adrianna also looked real cheap, what with her leopard print trousers and all, so Drea really suited that part! She may be a lovely girl, but she just *looks* trampy.
Perhaps Vince meant Jeanene was a beautiful person inside? I'm sure he's not the kind of guy that judges people on their looks.

I'm not sure if I like the idea of him becoming a bigger celebrity! Now it's gonna be harder for me to go to L.A. and take him :-> Hehehe! Nah, I think that if being a hot-shot celeb was on his agenda (which I'm fairly certain it isn't) he'd already be one by now. This will die down in about 2 weeks and he'll probably be exactly where he was before :-) Those are my thoughts anyway

Like it was big news that Nichloas Cage got married and divorced from Lisa Marie Presley and then moved on a 20 year old.. no one talks about that anymore.. it was big news for about maybe a month or 2 and they don't care.. But who knows, maybe vince wants the publicity.. He probably wants to be known.. Maybe he don't.. But i always thought Janeane Garafalo was pretty.. i think she had a great personality.. it's similar to Vince.. no wonder he thought she was the most beautiful person.. He's prolly talking about the way she looks and her personality.. :).. i wonder what he says about Joey and Ashley!! HA

I also agree with Autumn about keeping Vince our little secret. There is SO many people who don't know exactly who he is except of course "the dodgeball guy". But honestly, I think it's helping his career. He just seems like such a down to earth person, I'm sure he's laughing about all of this.
And Christine! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your website. I check it EVERY single day! It truly is the highlight of my day. I was telling people about the business dinner before it was even on newstands and they're asking me "how did you know that, stalker?!" hehe But please, please, ask if you need anything! Posted at: February 13, 2005 2:06 AMI saw Vince on Extra tonight. And he apperantly addressed the dinner. He said it was just them discussing a project. They usually replay it late at night. Atleast in Illinois and Indiana. Check your local listings
