Well, isn't that special?

People Online reports that Vince was at the Launch party (July 28) for EA Sports Madden NFL 2005 Xbox game AND he was the only guest who got to take home an advance copy of the game, due out on August 12. The company was told that Vince has owned every version of the game and so they rewarded his loyalty with an advance copy. I bet he dodged out of that party early, too!

And speaking of EA Sports--their first hockey title, NHLPA Hockey '93, was, according to Dave Warfield, EA Sports Canada, "the official start of the cult following of EA's Hockey franchise, immortalized in the movie, Swingers墜ｶ'making Gretzky's head bleed' became the goal of hockey fans everywhere, and non-hockey fans were drawn into a gameplay experience that transcended the popularity of the sport."
